Physical work remains a tough reality for many organisations. Back pain, overload and long-term absence are the result of posture, repetition, force and the way work is organised.

In this interactive session, IDEWE and MATE make the impact of physical work visible. Together, they rebuild a workplace where participants can experience how specific movements and tasks affect the body.

Using video or sensor technology, this physical load is measured objectively. Different interventions can then be tested: an adjusted workstation, a different movement, task rotation or a support tool such as an exoskeleton.

The session also shows how data can support better decisions on the work floor. Not to make people work harder, but to make work healthier, smarter and more human.
